Dr. McCary earned her medical degree with Honors from New York University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. She subsequently completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she also participated in the PhD Program for Physicians and earned a doctorate in Molecular Medicine. Dr. McCary is board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Internal Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. Her clinical practice focuses on general gastroenterology, with particular expertise in liver disease and the impact of obesity on the gastrointestinal system.
