Outside of work, she enjoys going to Pilates, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with her family.

She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at California State University, Los Angeles. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. She works as an integral part of complex interdisciplinary teams with great diligence, compassion, and patience to achieve desirable outcomes. Outside of work, she enjoys jogging, cycling, and learning about history.

She obtained her BSN in 2001 and earned her Master of Science in 2013 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Nursing, with an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree. Her experience spans from Hospital Medicine and Critical Care to Emergency Nursing. She believes in a patient-centered approach; provides evidence-based care with empathy and strives to achieve better outcomes for her patients. Payal Christian is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Society of Hospital Medicine and American College of Gastroenterology.
